Its been awhile for myself but I thought distributors varied vtec to non vtec?
for example. a obd1 vtec distributor off a gsr wont work for a obd1 93 da?
Or are the distributors interchangeable among obd1 cars ?
Thanks for the help

it will work
it’ll work, but it wont mount with all 3 bolts
ahh yes now I seem to remember ok. thanks:)
Ryan, just to be perfectly clear… There are two things to consider. Physical fitment and electrical compatibility.
Physically certain distributors will only fit on certain cars. With regard to b series motors there are two physically different distributors. Ones which fit on vtec motors and ones which fit on non-vtec motors. Year doesn’t matter, car doesn’t matter…
One you know which physical distributor you need then you’ll need to know which diagnostic system you’re running - OBD0, OBD1, OBD2. Distributor and ecu must match diagnostic systems.
werd someone wanted to buy my extra vtec one for his da and I didnt know if that could be done.
thanks:)
