The Car it is going in: 93 Integra Gs 2 dr Hatch
I’m planning to get the b18c5 and i was wondering if i can just drop it in with out any modifications since it’s a B-Series.
Since i have the p72 for my B16a which i currently have in right now
would the Type R ecu just plug in? with out any modifications or ?
And about the axles, which one’s would i use?
Would i be able to use the Type R tranny(Hydro) or do i have to use a cable trans?
i want to know what to do before i do anything…
:bump: so i can get some help…

like i asked on honda-tech, what obd is the motor? what obd is the ecu?
and you’ll have to use a cable tranny unless you plan on doing the hydro conversion. just search around, you’ll find a lot.

the motor is OBD 1 well, it’s an 2000 type R motor (usdm)
the ecu that i have is OBD 1 (p72)
when i buy the stuff it’s coming with:
Motor+Trans+Ecu
i believe the B18c5 is obd 2
so, im going to convert it to obd 1

hey man, i just got your pm on h-t. um…unless you plan on changing all the sensors on the motor to obd1, you’d have to attempt using an obd2 harness, then jumping it at the ecu.
