Cheers J yeh i did email ya, dan said ud know, yeh im gonna take the carrier bearings off both diffs tomorrow night.
Hopefully I won’t wreck my brand new enclosed bearings by using the pry bars :shock:
I got my enclosed bearings off fine without damaging but the tapered bearings got munched!
also we put two CV pods in the diff and turned the diff, it feels like a viscous LSD. if u go slow its easy then u turn fast and it locks up, u can’t feel the plates in it when u go slow??
I heard that it was a factory option for 96-98 ITR’s
this gearbox was claimed to be out of a 96 ITR
Ok diff is in the box fine, anyone got any info about viscous LSD’s in hondas
i searched the whole net and can’t find anywhere that actually confirms that honda DID have a viscous option for JDM typeR
