go on h-t and do a few searches. they argue which is better for like 20 pages. look at what head dart sells reproductions of. alot of people perfer p72.

so what if i got a B18a1 from a LS and built the block up, then put my stock GSR b17 VTEC head over it. would i still get the tourqe from the b18 and the hp band from the VTEC head?

That would be an LSVTEC, and yes, it would be torqey and depending on the compression and cam choices, one mean biotch.

ok guys i know ive asked about the B17 head with the B18a1 block, and you said it was an ls/vtec. i need help with the build and all ive found is stuff for a B16 VTEC head. can anyone give me a link for a Fourm with a B18a1 Block and B17 head. i want to take out my B17 block and put in the B18.
