Pic request on fat fives

Well the best advice is to start with your tires recommendations, and then go by feel/tread wear from there. I would always run my tires just slightly on the high side when daily driven to decrease rolling resistance. Living in Houston most of my driving is at highway speeds and then some, so even +1 mpg can be beneficial.

Don’t know if you’re still around but is was your car lowered in this pic? Or were you using stock springs/shocks?

ive decided to get 50s instead of 55s next time. im good with size, now to find a tire.

have you considered painting them or the inside?

i painted mine on the inside when i polished them…

I’m always around. It was lowered on Eibach Pro-kit springs on Tokico HP (blue) shocks.

Hey my old thread. I bought them in 09 and I still love them. Being an old skool rim, fat fives still look nice on DAs.

Fat fives are not old school, especially being on a DA.

How was the ride? I’m thinking of throwing some fat fives on my DA. That height you had there was perfect.

The ride was like stock with the pro-kit springs and tokico hp blue shocks. You can get any height you want with coilovers.
