if he knows what he’s doing, he probably can… but i would reccommend against a p72 rom as they can run in the p61, but not well… is he planning on using uberdata? is that why he wants to use the p72 rom?
the p30 rom would work best in the p61 ecu 
but u cant tune it with uberdata. there are other rom editors out there that can tho
