Getting Back In A DA

Have to have heat. Winters over here are down to -10. And this is going to be my DD.

Yea, I know what you mean, I was born in Jersey ! As of right now I live in the desert and it gets down to the high teens sometimes, thats cold enough for me. This past winter when I bought the car and was cummuting I had to wear thermals.

Well project K-DA is a go but will be held up until I get the money for it all at once. Got a full Swap list and total came to be 9k without the car and misc parts.

I will still buy the DA for the DD so if anyone has a good condition running 5spd with black interior give me a call.

Well as an update this may take awhile so (not to sound offensive) do get hopes up in a soon completion. I’m talking to a couple companies right now and some people from k20a.org who have done K swapped EG/EK/DC’s to get some info on the swaps difficulty, small hang ups and anything to look out for.

Also I need to get the money together first. haha 9k is a good chunk of change.

for an Eg radiator why dont you order the 2in halfcore from spoolin performance i think its still up for 125-150

Well I just found out today that I will be at my next job site for at least 7 months.

Thats 7 months of 35 an hour and 50 hours a week. I cant wait. As soon as I get there I will start this build.

Thats the box I’m getting. They make one that you have to cut a bunch out of the floor to use and they send a template.

The Hybrid racing one all you do Is grind off those bolts for the stock shifter assembly and bolt this one up. I do however need to buy the shifter cables for the swap.

This things gonna run me deep but man is it going to be worth it. Its so rare in a DA. I know EG/EK’s are a lighter base and you would run quicker times but its not all about times.

The DA Hands down is the sexiest Hinda ever and thats what makes this build bad ass. Because I know for a fact when I saw a K swap like 2 years ago in a EG I was like cool a K swapped EG bet its quick as hell.

But if I saw a K swapped DA I’d be like daaaayyyuuuummmmm! Thats Nice as shit. And Be all over that sum bitch until the owner called the cops to have me escorted away.

I had an 05 white ep3 too before (bought it new). I liked the first gear launch but no, its not a fast car.

Deff not fast but gets commuting done.

I went to work the other day and someone backed a work van into the pass side door and up to the front. Dented the door, fender and ripped the bumper down.

Getting treated as if I were in a grocery store parking lot. Sucks.

But still on hold for now. Finishe the one job but me and my supervisor had to go to University of MD to help another crew finish up there site.
