Getting Rust off calipers

I am getting ready to paint my calipers yellow and know how to do it and all, but i want to know how to get the rust off my calipers. i obviusly cant paint over the rust so any help would be appreciated on how to get the rust off fairly easy? thanks all

wire wheel them works great if ya wanna take them off all the way or use a wire brush/ coarse sand paper

yeah thats what i was thinkin but what about like rust remover liquid/gel whatever. anyone know of any good brands or if i will need it at all?

you could get them blasted (= sand, glass)
