Installing upper ball joint camber kit

For those who have installed the ball-joint type camber kits in the front suspension, how do you go about removing the old ball joint? The helms manual doesn't include any info since Honda only sells the whole upper arm.

There's a snap ring above the ball joint boot. After you remove that you should be able to push the joint through the top of the arm.

No, you don't need a press since the upper arm is very thin. I just tapped on the old joint lightly with a hammer, and it came apart.

ok, so I can just put a socket on either side and bang away at it?

That should work You shouldn't have to bang on it that much, like you would removing a lower ball joint with a hammer.

My lower ball joints won't come out with a hammer (I spent a few hours trying this past summer), but anyway the upper ball joints popped out after a few whacks with the 3 lb mallet. Thanks for the help.
