Does any one know if the tie rod boots and Ball jiont boots that the hyperkit comes with, are those replacement boots for those ball joints or do they merely slip over the ball joint boot thats already present
due to the ease of changing a ball joint/tie rod boot, i’d assume they’re almost definately a replacment, rather than a cover.
Oh no, these are definately NOT replacements for the rubber covers. They are made to go over the original rubber cover to protect it. Trust me I made this very expensive mistake and I ended up having to replace all my balljoints and tie rods. :bawl:
how about you just toss 'em.
seriously wtf is urethane gonna do for you covering a tie rod boot?
just toss those, or sell 'em to some stunna on ebay. use the real bushings.
