I plan on getting H&R sport springs, a decent upgrade in shocks, sway bars, bushings, and upper and lower front and rear strut bars to redo my whole suspension. My only question is whether I should replace the struts or not.
You already said you were gonna replace them… “shock” and “strut” are different terms for essentially the same thing. Both are Dampers which help keep your springs from bouncing up and down over and over again. Technically shocks and struts are different, but the difference lies in the style of suspension your car has. Typically people just interchange the terms.
