Free Dealership replacement of trailing arm bushings??

In one of the two long ass threads about the replacement of these, someone mentioned that if you ask your dealership about a “goodwill” replacement of your rear trailing arm bushings, they will replace them free of charge due to it being a safety issue…Has anyone successfully pulled this off?? Do dealerships really honor this? does the replacement cover both parts & labor??

:bump:

as far as i recall… this was a limited time deal… that expired a while back.

It covered cars with non-modified suspensions so if yer lowered forget it.

Honestly the best idea is to call your acura dealer.

nope, car isn’t lowerd yet, so i’ll give the dealership a call tommorow & let you guys know what happens…

The only thing I can see a dealer replacing on a car this old is the seatbelts.

Everything else is wear and tear.

nope, got ahold of the Acura dlr today, and they said they just couldn’t consider it for goodwill on a car that old…
