Should I Keep My 18's

Hey All This Is My First Post And I Have A Question. I Have Been Reading Threads About How Bad 18’s Are. My Rims Only Weigh 40 Pounds Each, Is This Good Or Bad. What Do Ya Think I Should Do, I Might Get 17’s But Im Looking For Your Opinions First. Thx All

Imagine a '73 civic w/ about 40 HP pulling those.

I’d suggest selling the 18’s and getting at least 16’s… Even 17’s are light nowadays.

40 lbs without tires? :shock:

lightweight 18s do exist, relatively speaking - they will be heavier than lightweight 15s, but way lighter than 40 lbs. They will be rather expensive.

as for what you should do: If you are looking to improve performance (straight line and cornering) then you should get much lighter rims. If you are just tryng to look good and you like the 18s, keep them.
