So I cleaned the iacv and I still have the same idle issue where it revs up to 3000 rpm and drops… what can be the problem.
you can try turning the screw back down inside the FITV( fast idle thermo valve) theres a right up on here explaining how to do it. if that doesnt work you need to reaplce the iacv. sometimes cleaning them wont help.
I had the same problem with my civic hatch I replaced the throttle which had the idle control sensor on it…cleared the problem up…or just replace the sensor
im in the process of fixing the same problem…
i got a new tps coming in the mail and my iacv is sitting in my room waiting to be cleaned.
how did you clean yours? i was told to just spray carb cleaner…
