Urgent help please........cars dies when put in gear

ok 1990 Integra RS Automatic

just started out of the blue last night, when putting it in gear (reverse or drive) it dies unless i give it gas then it engages hard of course and barely goes. now when i get it going down the road it shifts through all gears fine, no noises, but seems like a constant load on the engine. i know on hondas/acuras the drive light will flash if there is trans issues but my D light has never lit up since i bought the car

also no S3 light either and the lights on the ECU and tranny ECU do not light up at all but yet the car runs, idles fine

any and all insight will help to fix this it is my only car and daily driver

TIA

dont mean to rush but 42 views and nothing sorry just be nice to know something i’ve tried all i can think of

well its not fuel delivery, its not timing physical or spark, its not an electronic issue as i unplugged the tranny ecu and it still does it, it’s not wheel bearings, its not axles, (i can push it freely in neutral)

oh and now the oil light comes on when just idling…and there is oil in it and on the stick and no bottom end noise

my best guess is the torque converter is physically locked up…???

anyone have any suggestions???
