Fuel Tank Valve and other questions.

I’m rebuilting my Fuel Tank and the valve on top of it is pretty rusted, I wanted to what’s the purpose of this valve and if I can remove it.

#2 in the pictures

Also, I can’t remember wich(sp?) of the hose in the engine bay is the Return line…any help? Blue or Green Circle?

not sure about the valve on the gas tank does but im going to assume it serves some kind of purpouse and recomend leaving it on.

the return line is under what looks to be your FPR. the other port on the left is the tanks vapor vent that goes to the charcoal canister
