im getting a code 8. anyone ran into one of these? & what do i fix?

ur distributor. u were suppose to look thru the teg tips for engine codes in the engine category.
code 08 = TDC position.
ur crank positioning sensor is bad. probably best time to get another distirbutor.
(i kno what the code is) thanks. i just wanted to get a second opinion asfar as buyng a new distributor or if there was a way of fixing it. but i guess im gonna have to get a new or used one. thanks:)
i’d offer u a good used one. its in better condition than the one in my car. but i am holding it for another member. if he doesn’t take it this weekend then i’ll let u know unless u get one by then.
