i bought a new oil pan drain plug at advanceautoparts and it came with a polymer gasket. i have used an aluminum one till now. any trouble with the polymer ones? it looks good though, hard and seems like it will sort of shape to the imperfections of the drain pan hole nicely too…prob being a puss here. i will put it on tomorrow
I dont use the metal ones, the only thing that i notice is that it need about 3 more ft/lbs than manual spec to make it seal…
