I went to NAPA to get a thermostat yesterday and two came up on the computer for a 91 teg, one normal and one called ‘offset’ My car ended up taking the offset.
The offset one was a little oblong instead of perfectly round, and had a little metal bypass valve thing on it. Just wondering why in the world there is two listed…
cus napa sucks, and all the thermostats for our car i believe our oblong, with a metal valving system.
thats my guess. 
the OEM Honda one is oblong, with a little opening. It is also WAY beefier than the one from Pepboys that was in my car.
hmmm i wonder shy they give out the other one then, the offset one looked almost identical to the oem one, my dealership around here sucks and they have to order everything, they never have anything in stock, so i figured napa was better then the alternitive like shucks or somthing
