i have a paper route in the country for some extra $$ my car has 199,300 miles on it and i put on 60 miles a morning. it started getting colder and it snowed 2 nights ago and since that night there has been a ticking sound and every day it gets louder. would it be valve adjustment. also my throw out bearing is bad and my tranny grinds in 3rd and 5th normal driving. but if i shift at 5k or higher its all gears what would that be the clutch is starting to slip to any help would be great
as far as the trnny grinding goes, you could try GM synchromesh fluid in it, will help the grinding some, you will have to replace the tranny eventually though.
