sup ya, two days ago i noticed that when I shift into first and third my shifter hits the center console. First gear seems to want to pop out of gear when i accelerate. Is this a bad shift linkage? Im running all place racing mounts so I don’t think I have a bad tranny mount but my shifter does move alittle when i change gear. Anyone else had the same symptoms. What exactly do you need to replace ?
climb under your car and see whats up. Could be bent shift linkage.
what causes the shift linkage to get bent? Is it poly mounts and 6 puck race clutch? Do these shift linkage go bad cuz of age?
the only way it could get bent is from basically hitting some crazy rocks / potholes.
Check and make sure all your mounts are okay up front. That’s weird man.
