knocking noise coming from under the hood

the is a knocking noise coming from under the hood. it only knocks when i gas it. it is coming from the/near the timing belt area. it a 91 integra rs. someone pls tell me whats wrong?

i havent got a chance to change the oil yet. i got this integra about 2 weeks ago

Check oil level in meantime. Really sounds like low/bad oil.
