I had a small hose blow on my intake manifold and to get a better angle at the other end of the hose, I had to pull my upper radiator hose. I have noticed that coolant hoses freeze onto the ports really bad, and I was wondering if there is a lube I can use to keep the new hose from locking on to the port. TIA
I don’t know if there is such a thing. But I have noticed that if I get a little bit of the hose up, I can spray a little lube in there and it helps it to slide off.
What about getting a hose puller?
I didn’t know there was such a thing, lol. I wonder if a little water proof grease would work, or eat thru the rubber, dunno. But thanks for replying to my silly little post Neil.
