my friend just bought a 91 integra…the car runs when it is clod but when the car thermo hits middle the car shuts off and wont start? anyone know whats wrong…let me know

have you checked the distributor,is it getting spark ???
possible vaccum leak.
When car is cold it gets extra air in though the iacv ect… When car warms up it than closes. Most likely your not getting enough air though the throttle body. When car is cold where is the rpms at? Theirs a that srew gaps the butterfly to let air pass my have came out or try adjusting the idle srew on top of the TB. Try starting the car with the gas pedal down alittle and see if it starts.
the rpm are normal like 2-3…one of the lines are broken on one of the valves…the first one infront of the intake manifold? i read on another thread and it said somthing about the brain of the cliffard alarm

Dont know much about alarms but doubt its that. Turn the car on than unplug the brain and see what happens.
