I am looking for a engine hoist and found one for 880lbs capacity. I was wondering, I have a 92 integra GSR, with the B17a. Would this engine hoist be ok if i wanna pull out the whole engine.?? does anyone know how much our engines weigh?
it probably doesnt weigh that much, i think it would be ok. me and my brother can lift my engine up without too much trouble.
Eight hundred pounds is plenty, even for an engine with an auto tranny attached.
block with all internals only weighs like 200-225lbs, manual tranny is about 150lbs and head is like 40-50lbs
