Gauge Cluster swap, Fuel gauge reading wrong?

I swapped out the tach on my ls gauge cluster with a xsi one, And i accidentally moved the fuel gauge needle. Does anybody know if the gauge automatically resets to a default setting. I set the needle on the fuel gauge back to empty, Turned the key to acc then the needle slowly moved up to full. I have not driven the car yet, But would like some input on this. Other than this everything else work’s. Also i changed the upper bulb’s on the cluster to autolumination led’s and it burned my pcb on the back of the cluster, I resoldered it and it now work’s fine. Just seeing if this fuel gauge was normal or not?

i think you’ll need to gas it up to full and see where the fg needle reads. after that you make the necessary arrangements…

but don’t take my word on it, wait for the rest to chime in.
