I have the oil line and the Golden Eagle adaptor plate but I can’t figure out how to remove the stock threaded part where the oil cooler goes to install this:
I was gonna use a pair of nuts, thread them together and turn the inner one but I coudn’t find thin enough nuts, then someone told me to use some visegrips, but I don’t wanna damage it and not be able to take it out at the end.
24 views and no one can help, I thought a lot of you guys here had this lsvtec motor, guess not.
your plate should have come with a complete replacement part. i.e. you unscrew the stock honda one and screw on the GE one. OR in the case of my greddy, the adapter place center cyl simply scrwed onto the stock one and extended it allwoing me to use the plate.
stock thread/gasket/plate/new threaded extension/gasket/oil filter.
