im about to buy a ctr intake cam and itr exhaust cam for $300 and was wondering if thats a good deal or not for my b16 head

That’s a fair price. Not amazing, but not a rip off.

also, ITR and CTR exhaust cams are the same.

:werd: that’s abotu average for a set of R cams.

Only the 98 spec itr cams are the same as ctrs. I have a. Itr ctr combo on my lsvtec. I also have a pr3 head. I recommend shall springs and retainers

You’ll note that I specifically stated the EXHAUST cam is the same. Yes, intake cams are different for different years. There are tons of websites and posts indicating the differences and how to tell them apart.

well i might be buying a b20 block instead for right now so it will have to wait
