ECU question 92 integra Gs-R

Whats up G2ic, I’ve been a member for years, but sold my DA for a civic, which i have unfortunately totaled recently. So, i picked up a 92 Gs-R shell for $700.

I have a JDM OBD1 B16a Si-RII Motor and trans to swap in the car, But i have a question…

I’m assuming i need to use the cable VSS because the cluster runs off that, But the ECU and engine run off a digital VSS. I know i can swap the Digital for the cable VSS on the trans, But is my ECU (P30) not going to be able to use it since it runs off the Digital one? Won’t it throw a CEL? im going out to start the swap now, so its no big rush to get an answer, i just need it soon.

I run a p30 and having a cable vas has not caused a problem

cool, man. thats what i needed to hear.
I have heard of the VSS causing problems before, but i guess thats incorrect if your running it and theres no problem. Thanks.:rockon:
