questions on msd DISTRIBUTOR cap and blaster coil

i am in need of a Distributor Cap . planing to get a “msd kit” from ebay, i got really confused from what ive been reading here.

ok , ive been reading and search about this , some people have their msd kit on and burn the oem coil , some people burn the msd cap at where the oem coil meets the cap

some with good feedback

is this happening b/c they didnt remove the oem coil ? after removing the coil from inside the cap, how do i rewire it to the msd coil? do i need a inline ballast resistor to make the setup reliable? i just dont wanna burn it like other guys in the future.

i know some people are gonna say there is NO need to update to msd , stock inigtion is enough, but i already made up my mind, msd does make a differrent. considering a Beck Arnley Ignition Coil costs 70 bucks , a regular cap cost around 20 , so i rather just get msd cap n coil for 100 bucks even my coil is still good

so pls give me a hand on how to rewire it (i have no exp on wiring)

also i saw to different kinds of msd coil blaster 2 and blaster ss , which one is better?

and pls!!some feefback of your msd coil would be really nice

thank you

dude, i dont know what kinda superstar leaves in the factory coil too…

when you buy the msd cap and coil, they come with instructions. that is all you need.

oem is all u need. if u get something like that u have a better chance of frying stuff. most likely the distributor, the cap, the coil, and maybe more.
