This intake need cutting to install?

I already did afew searches and i couldnt find answer’s to all my questions.

I recently ordered a Intake off ebay thinking it would be really easy to install but i came across a problems

Problem: I noticed the pipe go’s down, So does that mean i need to do some cutting?

If anyone has this kinda intake and has picture’s please dont hesitate to post them.

i did a 1 piece ebay one and it fit perfect where the lower airbox was. simon has an aem short ram, it looks like crap. i bet he lost a good hp or two right there.

it means you have to take off the bumper or take off fender liner to get filter down there
since its a cai

Oh, That sucks!

Well atleast now when i have my bumper off i can fix the license plate holder inside the bumper so my license plate isnt zip tied to the bumper no more :ohyeah: :ghetto:

use the frist pipe only
and the filter on
shortram!
even tho its a tight fit it should work
as my bro did it

My dad told me to do that, when we were looking at it.

He was there because i couldnt get the stock headlight bulbs out to replace them with my XEON 8400K bulbs.

How many mexicans does it take to unscrew a light bulb?
