B17 rebuild questions

  1. What size ARP rod bolts do the B17 rods use? 8mm or 9mm? Called ARP and they were not sure, anyone use these on their rods? what size didd oyu use? did you have to do any machining?

  2. Should the main bearing bolts be replaced as well? The connecting rods bolts are being replaced, but what about the main bolts? Should these be ARP as well?

  3. I purchased a ITR oil pump and it says YAMADA on the front, and
    [22] [BE] stamped on the inside in two little boxes. Does anyone know how to tell if it is the ITR oil pump, or if i got ripped?

Thanks Archon. Do you know the acual size as the B16 (mm)? Just to make sure they are the right size. How much did you pay for the connecting rods bolts, and the main bolts?
P.S. are the main bolts the same size as the B16 also? (mm)

The B16 and B17 share the same block. You should know that important fact since you’re planning to rebuild yours.
