im getting a b16a1 obd0 head to do an ls/vtec set up on my 91 integra, which ecu do i need + what additional wiring needs to be done?
you can use an obd0 pr3 or pw0, and you will need to pin the wire for vtec at the harness (you’ll have to find out what pin) and run it to the vtec solenoid on the head.
awesome thanks for the info, one more question though… do i have to do anything for the knock sensor/ is there even a knock sensor on obd0?
i’m not really sure what you’d do about that…um…i guess get a jumper harness and go obd1 with a chipped p28 or a p30
can you get the pr3 chipped so you dont need a knock sensor?
edited - oops sorry. i mis-read, i though you just had a b16
i’m honestly not sure. but i do know that a p28 doesn’t run a knock sensor, so if you go that route just have that chipped for the dohc application.
