i am buying a G2 integra this week and it needs a new motor. now what motor i should do is stil up in the air. i was thinking of either a b16a xsi swap or either a b20z with b16 cable trans. i am lookin for suggestions from people who have had either swap done and what in ur opinions are pros and cons of them.any suggestions are helpful thanks.

ps. if i had the $$$ id do a gsr/itr swap but since my funds are low and i also need to do the body work on this car.
This argument has been done a million times before. Both are good swaps. The B20Z will obviously have a lot more torque. And with integra manifolds and a B16 transmission it will be a great motor. One problem is they can be a bitch to locate. You’ll find B20Bs all day long but the B20Z doesn’t turn up too often. It was only made from 99-01 in the US, so if you do get one it’s gonna be pretty new.
The B16 is of course a proven performer. If you want to sacrafice the low rpm power for top end then go with it.
