I was wondering I have a JDM vtec cyclinder head. And their is a trick you can do to V8’s as well as motorcycle heads to bump up compression. What you do is mill down the head by .030 to .060’s of an inch. I was wondering if I can do it to a vtec head? Also is a Ls/vtec engine a free spinning engine? I am very ignorant so please have pataince. :burnout:
yes u can deck the head to raise the cp level my ls head was decked to raise it a hafe a point in cp.
If your asking if we have interference engines, I believe the answer is yes, VTEC or not, valves will hit pistons if not timed properly. If this is not the case, I am very sorry for giving false info.
