2k miles and 5 months after “the build”,

So here’s my question.
Is there anyone at there that has “de-tuned”
your Built LS’s and passed with no serious issues.
I have a port and polished head with Crower 403’s and valvetrain, pushing the 11:1 Cr.
I will obviuosly pre-test it to find out whats up,
but just want to know in advance,its not due for a month or two.
p.s., I believe Dan passed his with de-tuning,
(tell me if I’m wrong).
(and yes, I know, its not an LS)
Turn back your ignition timing, make sure your car is well heated, and adjust your cam timing for less overlap.
Switch back to a stock ECU.
You should be able to get it to pass.

scott, call jonster he might be of some assistance 
scott are they running the dyno test down there yet, because if they are they will adjust your timing to stock spec for the test. they did that to my friend’s gsr and charged him on top of that for adjusting his timing.
hmmmmm, havent seen that yet, when they did my 87 accord a few years back, they didn’t adjust but, it WAS on a Dyno… Fortunatly Ho works at a test only now, but it still needs to be legit…
