Any one try and put a 1994 Honda passport engine in our cars???
The stats are very impressive
The entry-level DX had a 2.6-liter 4-cylinder engine, 2-wheel drive, and 5-speed manual shift
ohc I4 2.6 / 156
120HP 150TRQ
5-speed manual: 18/22

Don’t they have Isuzu motors?
yes they are isuzu motors the hole damn thing is made by isuzu
its only a SOHC with 120hp
a.k.a. victim
ya but look at the TRQ , slap a turbo on that and your set
If you’re gonna go to the work of a bizarre swap, why not a K24? same torque and 40-80 more HP. Plus, it is FWD, so you have a chance of getting the transmission to work. The passport is RWD, to trans would not work in an FWD application.
Imagine a RWD G2!!!
I’m sure it is possible, and has probably been discussed before. Might be easier to do by mounting an engine transversly behind the driver than with a front engine/rear drive setup. I think there was a link at one point to someone who was putting 2 engines in a G3.
