when my engine’s running, the power steering pulley wobbles back & forth pretty badly. is this due to the pulley itself being screwed up? or is the shaft in the center bent? I know it could be either, but I’m just asking which you think is more likely, because i can’t tell at all by looking at it… Also, by belts are completely fried… they’re tight as hell (from when i bought the car) and they still squeal like all hell when I start the car. Would it be worth it to just buy a set of AEM power pulleys that come w/ new belts anyway, and a new ps pulley if that’s what’s warped??
Sounds like the shaft is bent or the bearing is going bad. You will need to replace the pump.
