I am looking to buy a jdm b16 and i was just wondering if it would fit on the b18a transmission?
If you are asking if it will bolt up to your transmission than if i recall correctly yes. I believe all b series transmissions are interchagable. You just wont have the short geared transmission.
Will bolting the b16 to the b18 tranny affect the horse power or torque? Or will cause any other problems?
the larger gaps in the gearing will cause the RPM to fall off more between shifts. since the b16 makes it’s power at high RPM, you will be slower due to more time at lower RPM.
it will affect power to the wheels, but won’t affect the power output of motor itself.
