General Question about turbocharging

Hey guys,
Overall I have a good understanding about turbocharging. However, I’ll give two examples which have basic concepts I’m confused about:

Ex.1: Say there is an I4 engine with one turbo running 16 lbs. of boost. Does each cylinder experience 16 psi or does each cylinder experience 4 psi, give or take?

Ex.2: Say there is a V6 or a V8 engine with a turbo for each side of the engine(twin turbo). If the engine is making 18 lbs. of boost, is each turbo producing only 9 psi for their 3 or 4 cylinders? Or is each side of the engine experiencing 18 lbs. of boost?

These questions might sound confusing but thanks for any info!

The turbo pressurizes the entire intake track to the full amount. When the valves open the cylinder is pressurized at the full amount as well. So in your examples all the cylinders are receiving 16 and 18psi respectively.
