i currently run with a clutchmasters heavy duty PP…been in the car since nov 2001 – tranny is out and i’m goin’ with new Disc only … will be boosting expecting 250 to 275 whp… PP looks good … how can i test to see if i MUST replace …
Just look for pitting on the mating surface. If it is clean and smooth then go for it
no looks fine – out of interest can this be machined ?
also should i be concerned that the ‘clamping force’ goes away since new ?

Yes, the pressure plate can also be machined. a bit trickier process tho.
