Removing front headlight bulb?

I’m trying to replace the stock bulbs in my integra with the “fake” HID bulbs. The problem is, I cant’ figure out how to get access to the bulb. I can take off the back “plug” then there’s a little twist on/off cap that comes off after that, and I can see the back of the bulb…But I can’t twist this off or pull it out…I’ve tried pulling kinda gently etc (not wanting to break anything) but it just won’t budge. Do I need a special tool to pop this out? or should it simply pull out?

maybe your car, sensing that you’re about to make a GRAVE mistake in choice of replacement bulb, has decided not to let your bulbs come out in the hopes of retaining some of its dignity.

sounds like the problem to me.

it wasn’t sarcasm. you picked probably one of the WORST bulbs to use for your headlights. i guess you’ll figure that out when you use ‘em and realize they put out less than half the light of halogen bulbs (in terms of lumens, not Kelvin temperature color) and blow out in a few months’ time.
