So how good is the renewal process on the jdm 1 pc headlamps if the fog light is yellowing? It looks as if the renewing process does not address this and I wanted to get away the yellowing. Has anyone done this?
I looked this up but could not find what I wanted.
all i can figure out is finger nail polish remover for the inside. has this worked for anyone?
and i did look it is just the yellowing that i am concerned about

Is the yellow on the inside? outside? or in the plastic? If it’s in the inside I would not recommend resurfacing them because of the texture inside. It’s used to defuse and disperse the light right. If the yellow is inside the plastic you will just have to get new ones. If outside, refinishing should work perfectly. Lots of tedious work, but effects are well worth it. Mine look like-new. If you fix them, try keeping the head lights out of bright sun light for long periods of time. And make sure you seal them well to prevent moisture from getting in.
