car wont start when super hot outside

so i went to start my car right after i got out of the movies and car turned over and everything but didnt start it just sat there and shuttered like it want to start but couldn't. and i so was thinking that it might be my fuel filter in the gas tank cause im in need of a new one but after i tryed it as again after letting the car for like 15 mins bam it starts right up.

can anyone help me out here.

I agree with the above, it's probably the PGM-FI Main Relay.

Next time it's hot and you think there may be a problem turn the ign. switch to run, [not all the way to start] you should be able to hear the fuel pump run for a few sec., [priming], if you do not hear the the fuel pump give the relay a tap or two, if pump turns on you will need to replace or repair the relay...
