I need a new alternator and was wondering what the best option is? OEM rebuilds from Delray Acura run around $220. Should I just go ahead and get that or are there better options for the price? I want to get something that is going to last a while, really don’t want to have to replace again in a year or two. I can’t install it myself so labor gets spendy. Let me know what you guys suggest.
Also, are there any high output alternators with close to OEM quality? I only have a 400W stereo so I don’t really think I need one, but the extra power could be nice. I just want to make sure it’s a quality altnernator and not something that will need replacing often.
