So I got my HIDs for my USDM headlights and the problem is taking out the original lights. They are really stuck in the housing. I’ve tried twisting and turning and pulling up and down but they are stuck to the housing. My frineds even tried and we broke the plastic piece attached to the light bulb where the connector plugs in. I was just wondering if anybody else ran into this problem when changing the bulbs. Can spray like wd40 to get loose? And which way are you supposed to turn the bulb?
Did you remove the retaining cap that holds the bulb to the headlight housing?
Rotate the plastic retaining collar counterclockwise and remove it, then bulb assembly will pull straight out. 94
