So i need to rewire the plate lights on my DA, and after looking at it, there is not much room at all to do any wire work from the back bumper area. So now in order to actually strip and solder the wires would I need to take my bumper off completely or can i just go under my car and still access the wires?

You would have an easier time if you removed the rear bumper. On your bumper support, there is going to be your 12v positive and negative wires . they’ll be quite short though but you can just use them to turn on your plate lights. The lite will work like your oem plate light!
I just recently had to connect my rear-plate lighting.
one of the lights stopped working.
Now you should not have to solder anything, unless you cut the wires.
they should have metal connectors in waterproof plastic that simply need to be reconnect. you should be able to connect the two with your hands.
you could always splice into the other lights wires as well if you diddn’t want to gothrough a huge hassle for something small.
