guitar amp in my 'teg

hey everyone… got a Hartke amp/sub combo with a built in crossover. I was thinking about using an inverter and running it into my sound system. anyone thinik the incoming wattage from the radio(52 watts per channel, only using 1 to it) would possibly hurt the amp? The reason I ask is cause it slams hard as HELL… and don’t play guitar anymore… anyway, anyone have an idea if it would hurt the amp?

You need to convert to a 1/4 inch plug anyway, correct? Get a line output converter and a RCA to 1/4 adapeter and connect it that way.

yeah, I already have the 1/4 mono plug

oh, line output converter… you mean like a crossover?

no, a line output converter is a box that you run the leads from an internal amp to, and it supplies a low-level output through RCA jacks. Here is one , places like Best Buy also sell them.

Sell it and buy some car audio stuff.

Ditto that :giggle: The cost of an inverter big enough to run a 110v amp will be more then an amp and sub I bet :hmm: 94
