For those of you who have HID conversion kits on your G2’s…where did you mount your ballast? I mounted mine underneath the headlight with automotive tape but that stuff didnt seem to stick all that well and fell off, maybe from heat (from the headlight or ballast) or the water from the rain. Any suggestions of locations to mount ballasts? pics? thanks a lot.

why not just use plumber’s tape in the same place?
in case you don’t realize it, plumber’s tape is a strip of metal with holes in it that bolts or screws can pass through. you can get it at any hardware store. just tell them you need plumber’s tape. if they look at you like a monkey doing a math problem, go to a car audio place and ask for some backstrapping. same stuff.
