The day was promising with glimpses of the sun breaking through the clouds, I arrived at the meet location 30 minutes early just in case we had some confused peeps who showed up early or didn’t know where it was. To my surprise the whole OR crew was already on the scene. I, being the only WA member at the scene pulled my teg along the others and no longer had I gotten out my car did Johnny start chasing my ass (I knew all that sh!t talkin was gonna catch up with me!) To my amazement they had gotten there at 11:30am and thought the meet was scheduled to start at 12 noon but we gave peeps til 1pm to show up! Slowly, more and more tegs started pulling in with peeps armed with cameras. I being the only one with a video camera recorded the days events and had a blast! All the peeps from the NW who haven't met each other yet finally put faces to names and it became a big FAMILY.
Meanwhile, Ive and myself along with Shea jockeyed for position on one of the few areas where we could take overhead shots of the view. A fellow member brought along his RC race car was doing spins and flips of the curb! In one stunt, he tried to make to go through my legs but ended up almost taking out my right foot! It felt like it was going 40mph. Later in the day, we had too many tegs in the current lot so we ended up moving all the tegs to a bigger lot where we could take some better photos. So one by one we pulled our tegs up in a row as Dan was directing traffic. Many good pics where taken that day and a short while later. We decided to go somewhere to eat. JackNThe Crack and Wendys was the meal of the day for most of the NW crew as we filled up the restaurant and took over their seats! After eating, we ventured on to Skykart and took out our racing aggressions on the track. It was a blast as always and somehow I ended up with the worst lap time again. We put in 2 races and later as the day was winding to an end. Bullsh!tted outside in the parking lot until my G/F finally wanted to leave and catch a movie. The Canada members had left by this time and I felt it was time to end it all so I left. All and all, it was fun to meet up with my friends and to have made new friends along the way, I guess this is was the G2IC experience is all about! I just wanna thank Nai for putting up with my obsession and to all my NW crew homies (u know who u are!!!) that having the opportunity to do this is something to remember. Later
